About Me

Kaitlyn Lynch is an actor, director, and author of dark speculative and suspense fiction. CKaitlyn Lynch is an actor, director, and author of dark speculative and suspense fiction. Currently, she holds a staff writer position on the horror podcast “Around the Campfire,” is the founder of Door 14 Productions, and represents Author Services with KMP Entertainment. Her work is forthcoming in the Harvest anthology from Blood Song Books.

With Turkish-Italian-Ashkenazi roots and an upbringing in a Midwestern Christian household, she has a strong and unique cultural identity that shapes the tone of her art. Seasoned entertainment industry professional Kate McClanaghan says Lynch has “a performance resume studded with unique and particularly challenging, often villainous roles;” this background from stage and screen translates well to the written word.

After being diagnosed with a myriad of chronic health conditions beginning at age eleven, she hopes to use her passion for the creative arts as a platform to be the voice she needed to hear in the entertainment industry as a child.

Otherwise, her main influences are Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe, David Bowie, Margot Robbie, Holly Black, Frank Sinatra, Alfred Hitchcock, Gail Simone, and Jordan Peele.

She has a deep appreciation for DC Comics, 80s horror movies, Nancy Drew computer games, and crystal healing.
